A few days at Camping le Ruisseau

We had 4 nights at the campsite just outside Saint-Andre-de-Seignanx. It has a nice swimming pool, crazy golf course, pétanque and a pizza van - and more.

On the first day we wandered into town to pick up a baguette and checked out the old church - it looks very ancient. Some of the windows looked quite modern and interesting.

Glenn obviously felt quite relaxed.

Then we had a few days of heatwave - the top temperature being 39 degrees. So we chilled out and kept cool in the pool.

I had a bit of a tummy bug so it was good to take some time out and rest up.

One morning when it was cool Glenn cycled to the bird reserve Marais d’Orx which he found was fabulous with flamingoes, storks, spoonbills and all the usual culprits! It had many bird hides with binoculars set up along boardwalks - so a nice place to visit.

It was a very peaceful spot to park up for a while.
