We started the day with some domestics getting our clothes washing done at the community Seabord Centre. They provide a washing machine, drier and shower - all coin operated. There's also a cafe, post office and classes for mums and kids - all community run - a great resource.
We headed off to see some more Pictish stones while waiting for the washing.
it was the start of Christianity in Scotland and the cross was entwined with all the other Celtic symbols.
This one is the Shandwick stone from about 780AD.
This one is the Hilton of Cadboll stone from around the same time.
After collecting our washing we headed down to Inverness and visited Nik in hospital.
It was then a short walk to Kingsmills Hotel to catch up with Heather and Joan from Australia who happen to be on a tour of Scotland. We had a great time discussing all our adventures - and a lovely dinner including crowdie, crab, smoked haddock and sea trout.

There was also a classic car rally in the car park - with some very interesting cars.

We then got a scenic bus ride with views of the Keswick Bridge back to Gus who was in a caravan park next to the Caledonian Canal.
Another big day!!
