We woke up slightly hungover - or very hungover in Glenn’s case . He had over-indulged in beer , red wine and whisky so it was not a surprise.
We went for a swim in one of the lovely pools to shake it off. I did quite a few laps while Glenn floated around.
We then got organised to get Gus parked outside by 11am. We then all drove up to Lake Leon - Stephen and Claire in their smart car - to have lunch.
It’s a big picnic and water sports area with a few restaurants so was very busy as it was Saturday.
We had a very nice lunch again - I had a seafood salad and Glenn had tagliatelle carbonara while the others had pizza.

Afterwards we went for a walk to explore the more a nature walk on the edge of the lake. There were lovely areas of lily pads on the edges.
Then Stephen saw there was a geocache bit far away on a little island. As we went down the muddy path that looked like it had been churned up by wild boar, the path got narrower and narrower.
The boys surged ahead looking for the geocache while myself and Claire tried to stay out of the mud - and not to get bitten by mosquitoes.
Unfortunately the boys were unsuccessful in their search snd they need up quite muddy by the end.
We then had to say goodbye and head off in our different directions - Claire and Stephen back to Eurosol and us off to Camping le Ruisseau near Saint-Andre-de-Seignanx.
We had a quick trip to the campsite and soon got settled with lovely views of a corn field. We also received the package we had ordered of a smokeless barbecue - so looking forward to using it soon.
