We had another great visit to Callum Campbell in Nairn - and his wonderful garden.
Here are Callum and Glenn checking on the progress of the many vegetables, fruits and flowers.
Also this lettuce that is being eaten alive leaf by leaf.

Callum very generously gave us a super goody bag with home made raisin bread and homegrown potatoes and rhubarb. We are definitely enjoying those!
Next we went to Culloden where Bonnie Prince Charlie's army was beaten in 1746. There are many clan mass graves there - around 1500 jacobites died and only 50 British soldiers. There is a very good museum and video presentation where you feel as if you are in the middle of the battle. You then can wander over the battlefield seeing where the army lines were and where the highlanders charged to. It usually atmospheric - rainy and misty - but we were there in bright warm sunshine so actually a nice day out. Not so for the Jacobites - charging through the bog in rain and sleet.

Hot and sunny when we were at Culloden too. Did you do a guided tour? With Lech’s volunteering, we had to and it was very good.
