Plockton to Portree

Starting with a bit of a rainy morning here are Lorraine and Charlie hiding in their motorhome.

Glenn and I went to check out the beautiful Plockton village - which starred in the old tv series Hamish Macbeth.

We then headed across the bridge to Skye and stopped at Kyleakin for lunch.

Then we went to see if we could find Brendan Martin who lives on Skye - and Glenn hadn't seen for over 10 years. Luckily we found him as we were leaving his place - where he has many different renovation projects.

We found out he had got married to his neighbour 8 months before and moved across the road to her place . We caught up with him and his wife Jane with tea on their pier.

Then we headed off to the Portree Campsite to rendezvous with Lorraine and Charlie. After dinner and teas we had with a challenging game of scrabble in their van. Glenn came up with all sorts of weird words - like ki. It was close - and I'm sure a return match will be required.
